Poster giveaway 2023

The Digital Innovation Hub Düsseldorf/Rheinland GmbH, Speditionstraße 15a, 40221 Düsseldorf, hereinafter referred to as digihub Düsseldorf/Rheinland, is giving away free tickets for the Digital Demo Day 2023 in the period from 01.08.2023 to 07.08.2023. By participating in the sweepstakes, the user agrees to the following conditions of participation and content responsibility.

‍‍1. What can you win?

By participating, you have the chance to win a free visitor ticket (ticket category Startups & Enthusiasts) for the Digital Demo Day on 08/17/2023 from 08/01/2023 to 08/07/2023.  

2. How can you win?

Participation takes place by posting a picture of the official Digital Demo Day 2023 poster at an outside advertising space. The posting has to be published on the personal account of the participants on the platforms LinkedIn, Instagram or Facebook. For the platforms Instagram and Facebook, it is also possible to post a picture of the poster in the personal story. Either way, the participant has to tag the official accounts of the Digital Demo Day and digihub Düsseldorf/ Rheinland on the selected platform. Each participant who enters and publishes a post or story with the offical poster and right tagging will receive a free code for a visitor ticket (Startups & Enthusiasts ticket category) for the Digital Demo Day.  

3. Who can participate?

Participation is free of charge and open to any natural person. For underage participants, digihub Düsseldorf/Rheinland requires the consent of the parent or guardian. Participation requires the truthful provision of data relevant to participation. Only one entry per person is possible. Multiple registrations do not increase the chance of winning, as they will be filtered and excluded.

4. Who is excluded from participation?‍

digihub Düsseldorf/Rheinland is entitled to exclude individual persons from participation if there are justified reasons for doing so, such as violation of these conditions of participation, double or multiple participation, manipulation, etc., and reserves the right to take legal action. Employees of digihub Düsseldorf/Rheinland and the participating companies may not take part in this competition. The legal process is excluded.  

5. How are the winners determined?

How will I know if I have won?The free tickets will be awarded to every participant who has successfully entered the competition and posted both the official poster and tagged both official account on the selected platform. Each participant will receive a prize notification on the day after the end of the competition period. This will take place on 08.08.2023 by direct message or e-mail, if provided by direct message.  

6. How will I receive my prize?‍

With the prize notification, the winner will receive the free code as well as further information on how to redeem it. The participant is responsible for the correctness of the contact data provided (e-mail address or contact information, received by direct message).  

7. What happens if I do not contact you after I have been notified of my win?‍

If a winner provides digihub Düsseldorf/Rheinland with incorrect contact details and it is therefore not possible to send or hand over the prize, the prize will be forfeited. The winner is responsible for redeeming the free code on the Digital Demo Day ticketing page. The winner will receive further information on how to redeem the code in the prize notification.

8. Reservation clause

digihub Düsseldorf/Rheinland reserves the right to modify, interrupt or terminate the competition at any time without prior notice and without stating reasons. However, digihub Düsseldorf/Rheinland will only make use of this option if, for reasons of force majeure, for technical reasons or for legal reasons, it is not possible to guarantee that the game will be carried out properly. The digihub Düsseldorf/Rheinland is not liable for losses, failures or delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.  

9. Data protection regulations

Your security and satisfaction are our primary concern. digihub Düsseldorf/Rheinland stores and uses the data collected exclusively for the purpose of conducting the competition. After the end of the competition, all data will be destroyed. 10. Miscellaneous

Cash payment of the prizes is not possible. Winning claims cannot be transferred or assigned to other persons. Legal recourse is excluded. Should individual provisions of the conditions of participation be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining conditions of participation shall remain unaffected. They shall be replaced by an appropriate provision that comes closest to the purpose of the invalid provision. Digihub Düsseldorf/Rheinland reserves the right to change the conditions of participation at any time. Participation automatically confirms that you have read and agree to the above terms and conditions.
